"Lady Justice and the Vigilante" by Robert Thornhill

Lady Justice Series Book #7

Product Details

A vigilante is loose in Kansas City and doling out his own brand of justice in Book #7 of Robert Thornhill’s Lady Justice Series.  In “Lady Justice and the Vigilante,” criminals are going free on technicalities and the vigilante is causing opinions to split on the question: is it justice or is it murder to eliminate these suspects?   The “justice” served up by the vigilante is causing everyday citizens to take up arms and defend themselves - sometimes with unjustified results.

Once again, Thornhill approaches a sensitive issue with humor in this mystery-comedy novel.  In the first chapter, the reader can’t help but feel anger toward the suspect and the criminal justice system when a rapist goes free.  Kansas City cop Walt Williams is assigned to capture the perpetrator, but when this issue hits close to home, he must make a difficult decision.   While hunting down the vigilante, Williams is taken on several assignments that involve his merry band of senior citizens.  We are also introduced to a female cop, Judy, whose interest in Walt’s partner Ox provides us with more comic relief in this and upcoming novels.

This series is an easy read and full of suspense and comedy.  Start with book #1 and enjoy the ride!
