Visit Our Book Sale Building
We are always grateful for the books our patrons donate to the library. We check each book against our card catalog and add any that are in good condition, that we don’t have, to our collection. Any duplicates are sent to our book sale, located in the building across from Lawrence Farm & Ranch on Highway 36. The building is now overflowing in books, so the board has decided to increase our sales to EVERY 1ST SATURDAY of the month, thanks to the willingness of our book sale volunteers.
To accommodate all the boxes of books waiting to be added to the sale, we have been busy cleaning and sorting. Our non-fiction room is nearly ready for more books and we will be cleaning out the children’s section next. In addition, we are stocking up on western paperbacks, which is our most highly sought-after genre. Stop in between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and get in on some great deals! Our suggested donation is $1/bag. Where else can you get so much for only $1? And those dollars add up to extra revenue for the library to help with our operating expenses.
We have fiction, non-fiction, romance, adventure, teen and children's titles and lots more. There are paperbacks, hardcovers, audiobooks on tape and CD, and DVDs and VHS movies.
