MEET THE AUTHOR

We would like to thank  James M. Olson for being our guest speaker on Thursday, April 24.  As promised, it was a delightfully exciting evening!   James  was a career officer in the Directorate of Operations of the CIA serving mostly in clandestine operations overseas.  He served as Chief of Counterintelligence at the CIA headquarters in Langley, VA.
James was the recipient of the Intelligence Medal of Merit, the Distinguished Career Intelligence Medal, the Donovan Award,  several distinguished achievement awards as well as the Silver Star Award at the Bush school of excellence in teaching.  James speaks French, German, Russian and Spanish in addition to English.  James is the author of  "The Ten Commandments of Counterintelligence," Studies in Intelligence (Unclassified Edition) and Fair Play: The Moral Dilemmas of Spying.
James was full of very interesting information and highly  entertaining stories of his and his wife's (she also was a spy)  action filled adventures.
