Jeremiah 29:11 Project a Huge Success!

Summer has ended... the children are back in school... the Jeremiah 29:11 Projects is over for another year.  What a great summer it was!

We are so grateful to the many volunteers who helped, and the supporters who provided funding for this project.  The library is especially grateful to The Trull Foundation and The Frances R. Dewing Foundation for making it possible to provide weekend snacks and new books for our children.  In total, the library distributed 730 books at a value of $6,658.21 during the 12 weeks of summer.  Our titles included classics, activities, true stories, topics on community involvement, science, nutrition, and "just for fun" reads.

We are also grateful to our local Kiwanis and two anonymous donors for purchasing books to "fill in the gaps."  We look forward to next year being even bigger and better!
